Fine for a short stay in Fukoaka
Location was pretty good. Walking distance to most places. Great shower pressure. Hotel is modern and new.
Staff were a bit hit and miss. Some very friendly. Some a bit grumpy. Room was clean but needed a repaint. Lots of scuffs on the walls. Shower over bath was very 1980s for a new build hotel. Pillows were flat as a pancake which impacted on sleep quality.

What was the highlight of CROSS Life Hakata Yanagibashi
A pleasant stay and would love to visit again!
The location is pretty convenient for us! It is close to a subway station, and both Tenjin and Hakata station are within walking distance (~20 min). Overall I love the neighbourhood-- it feels safe, and we can easily access convenience stores, restaurants, and drug stores nearby. The hotel itself feels very stylish. My friend and I stayed in a comfort twin room, which is more spacious than we had expected. We were both very pleased to have space to open our big suitcases. Another feature I like is the big flat screen TV in this room, which is really just a nice bonus, as we came to fukuoka for concerts so it was nice to be able to play some of our idols' videos on YouTube.
As many have pointed out, the room isn't well-lit, which can be a problem for applying makeup. Also, we find the cleaning staff's standards... interesting. The trash bin in the room is quite small, so sometimes we couldn't throw bigger stuff (e.g., finished bento boxes, bottles) inside, and just left them next to or on top of the bin instead. In our opinion, it was very clear that those were trash, but the cleaning staff didn't always take them out.

Value for money, room consider spacious, high security as you only allow to access to your own floor.
We hv connecting rooms, the room is spacious, clean and water heater work well, short walking distance to Hakata station and Tenjin area and about 15minutes walking distance to Hakata Canal City, the rooms came with 2 bottles drinking water this is very unusual during our stay in Fukuoka usually rooms do not provide drinking water. Nearby the hotel have Lawson, drugs stall and local supermarkets.
The staffs could be more friendly.
